The 64-year-old’s section of the Fossey’s Gorilla Fund had it’s grand opening on Tuesday. The gorilla sanctuary, which is dedicated to the protection of gorillas, was gifted to the talk show host by her wife, Portia de Rossi, for her 60th birthday four years ago. Protecting a number of acres, the campus has new lab rooms and lots of of native crops. There are some primary instruments that gorillas can use as they breed and make use of the brand new atmosphere. Gorillas like to chill out, little brother!
The campus even has its own custom furniture, created with the gorillas in mind, so they can lounge around their home.
The entire function of the fund is to assist gorillas survive poachers and different poachers and different poachers that may utterly destroy their species, and lo and behold … it really works his work in preserving these cuts sturdy for years now, with lots of of gorillas vastly appreciated, largely, by Fossey’s conservationist endeavor.

On Monday, the couple celebrated Portia’s 49th birthday. Ellen shared a heartfelt message with her 114M Instagram followers that read: « I can’t imagine my life without you in it. I’m so, so glad you were born. Happy birthday, Portia ».
